Winners Corner with V75
Winners Corner expert Peter Andersson guides us through this week's V75 meeting in Färjestad.
Great races as we have the final of E3 this week and also V75-finals. Färjestad is famous for being one of the fastest tracks in Sweden but also a bit tricky in the start. Be careful with post 1 and 2 behind the gate as they are not as good as at other tracks. I pick two bankers who seem to be in top form and two outsiders who like high pace.
Bankers:
5 Your Love Lois (V75-1)
4 Fetter’n T.G. (V75-5)
Outsiders:
10 Cool Dream (V75-4)
10 Bagley (V75-7)
Daily Double:
DD-1: 2 - 5
DD-2: 2- 10
Trifecta:
Race 6 (V75-2)
Winner: 3 Orione Spin
Second: 1-2-4-9
Third: ALL
V75-1
5 Your Love Lois is very fast out and has been impressive lately. I think he is a wire to wire winner and mark him as a banker! 1 Quality Control is also fast out and is a contender if he can hold on to the lead. 9 Long Night has made great progress lately but the post is very tough. 12 Ed You is moving up in form.
Ranking: 5-1-9-12-8-3-2
V75-2
3 Orione Spin was very strong last time and has a good chance of winning from a nice post. 1 Truculent is a contender if he can hold on to the lead. 4 You Two fought hard last time and is a contender with an easier trip. 9 Fayence is handicapped by a post in the second tier but has top form.
Ranking: 3-1-4-9-2-7-5
V75-3
10 Sanity is an elite horse who could be hard to stop despite the bad draw. 2 Iceland is uneven but very good some days. 6 Nahar was much improved last time and should not be neglected if the pace is high. 7 Oracle won easily last time but is facing tougher competition now.
Ranking: 10-2-6-7-5-4-9
V75-4
2 On Hold is a good horse and could be tough to beat if he keeps stride. 4 Added Power has improved since he started to compete shoeless and is an early contender. 10 Cool Dream is making progress with every race and is a fun outsider with high pace! 1 Spinnaker could be interesting if he gets the lead.
Ranking: 2-4-10-1-6-3-7
V75-5
4 Fetter’n T.G. looked wonderful when winning last time and he usually does well in Sweden. Should win if he can repeat his last performance, banker! 3 Krusen can do much better than last time and 12 Tord Viking wins often but has a tough draw. 6 Rigel Odin has top form.
Ranking: 4-3-12-6-7-2-5
V75-6
Huge final of the E3 where my first pick is 2 Quid Pro Quo who is both fast and strong. 5 Chelsea Boko is still inexperienced but has shown that he is good enough to challenge for the win. 3 Nostromo is a tough Finish horse and 8 Global Offshore can do better than last time.
Ranking: 2-5-3-8-4-1-6
V75-7
2 Friction is classy and tough so he should not have any problem with the tight schedule. 10 Bagley is in top form and is a great finisher, nice outsider! 9 Global Money is getting close to a win while 8 Nantucket needs a bit of racing luck from this post
Ranking: 2-10-9-8-6-4-3
Good Luck!
Peter Andersson
