Såg Taken 2 igår på SF. Hur kan Luc Besson skriva en så jävla obefintligt kreativ uppföljare till den stundtals rafflande ettan?

Nu utgår jag från att en av mina favoritskådisar Liam Neeson har ett stort kokainbehov och behöver pengar så till den grad att han läste manuset och kände sig likgiltig över att det verkade vara skrivet över en lunch!

Then there are several awkward scenes showing Neeson socializing with his ex-wife in an attempt at characterisation so that the viewer will want him to rescue her when she later gets kidnapped. This is despite the fact that she spends most of the rest of the film with a sack over her head, presumably because Famke Janssen, who plays her, left the film forcing the filmmakers to recast the role. Therefore they couldn’t show the new actresses face because it would have been a dead giveaway. But what’s the point of trying so hard to give the give her characterisation near the beginning if she spends most of the remainder of the film with a sack over her head?
