Nu har säkert många liksom jag hade fördomar mot anime och tänker på naruto, sailormoons o digimons och liknande men de finns faktiskt en hel värld med animeserier riktade till äldre (demographics: seinen / mature), Smaken om genrer är väl som baken men här tre jag gillat iaf:
Elfen Lied, 13 episoder, en berg o dalbana av känslor, kastar från att vara sjukt kul till motbjudande så de gräver i magen ...och allt däremellan.

...samtliga är våldsamma, mer eller mindre mörka storyn med en del scener som inte kanske är så lätta att smälta alla gånger.
Finns ju givetvis många andra serier som inte är så våldsamma och i andra genrer. Som tex Kaiji, 39 episoder om "the art of gambling" [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaiji_%28manga%29[/ame]
