Voegele form is not on top at the moment, loosing in three straight matches – last two on indoor hard which should be her best ground – against Vosoboeva and lately against Razzano, only winning 3 games in that match. She is now facing Cornet – who have better form, played well in paris reaching SF. Cornet is the more consistent and better player IMO and have good record against players around ranking 50 in the world. Voegele only managing to win 4 of 15 matches against players in topp 25. This one is on Cornets racket and i choose to play her.

Knapp K. – Garcia C.

Think 1.70 is still a little high price at the moment and choose to play. Knapp coming into this one winning two straight matches in Fed Cup – against Rise and keys – both in straight sets. She have only been beaten by Errani and Sharaova in 6 matches – good form on her – and the Fed Cup wins came on hard court as well.
Facing Garcia – who only have 1 win on 10 matches – 9 straight losses – which have to affect the mental parts of her game. Knapp have a good chance for a new win and against Garcia with poor form who have only 1 win on 12 matches over top 50 players – it will be a though match for her – when Knapp have good form lately and a good record against players outside the top 50 (29-10).

Safarova L. – Flipkens K.

Will go with Flipkens here. Even if both layers have decent form and h2h is 3-0 to Lucie. The last match were in 2011 and on clay. New conditions here. Safarova have only played one match after AO – yesterday in Fed Cup against Spain – as the matches was delayed – not the perfect preparations for this encounter. And, Lucie was being sick last week, and did look very rusty even if she won in a three set decider – she had to be on the plane to Doha from Spain direct after. Not the ideal thing if you are facing a tricky opponent as Flipkens after being sick, playing on monday and fly all the way to Qatar and play world nr 20. Im playing with pinnacle because if Lucie withdraw after 1 set we get the win. She should be tired both physically and mentally.
