Anderlecht coach Ariël Jacobs announced a selection of 18 players for the match on the pitch of Zulte Waregem as part of the eighth JPL play-off match today, Thursday 29th April 2010. In addition to Kanu, De Sutter and Kouyate, Biglia, Lukaku, Legear and Rnic will also be absent.

Lucas Biglia has been struggling with a quadriceps contusion ever since Sunday’s match against Ghent. Romelu Lukaku had his wisdom teeth surgically removed and will not play either. Jonathan Legear, too, is struggling with his teeth and is expected at the dentist’s next week. Nemanja Rnic, finally, is struggling with a very heavy quadriceps contusion and will not be ready in time for the match either.

Kanu (meniscus surgery), Tom De Sutter (knee surgery) and Cheikhou Kouyate (ankle injury) are continuing their convalesce.

Olivier Deschacht (quadriceps) and Jelle Van Damme (hamstring), who took an individual programme on Wednesday, are fit and are part of the selection.
