After losing their first 2 preseason games, the Texans will be all business tonight as the starters log big minutes. The Dallas first team offense has been very basic this preseason, and I expect that to remain the case, not wanting to show anything to a Texas team it will see early in the season. It will also hurt Dallas to be without regulars such as offensive linemen Marc Columbo and Kyle Kosier, safety Gerald Sensabaugh, defensive end Marcus Spears and linebacker Keith Brooking. The Cowboys have struggled to run the football this preseason, which plays right into our hands here. In fact, plays against any team averaging 70 or less rushing yards per game, are 22-5 ATS the last 10 seasons. With this being Houston's first home game of the preseason, and with the Texans looking to get in the win column for the first time, I expect them to be the much hungrier team tonight. Take the Texans as they win by double digits.
