OVERVIEW: CHASING A WIN (9) has been racing in great form at Mildura and appears to be well graded in this event. He was runner up behind Flight Officer two starts back and he recorded a slick mile rate of 1.56.9 when he scored on October 02. BANKS (8) gained a nice trail throughout and gained a clear passage on the home turn when a handy third behind Larissa’s Advice last week. This is his easiest assignment for some time and he should give a forward showing. MOTU RAMPAGE (2) attacked the leader from the 1100m and boxed on well for second at Mildura last week. He is drawn to lead and has been running fast times recently but it is quite a step up from the C1-C2 class into this C2-C4 event this evening. HARD ROCK SHANNON (7) worked home reasonably well for third behind Regal Lager last week and is a place chance from his trailing draw.
