Norwegian pick #30 Sparta -1.5 @ 1.75 (Pinnaclesports)

(Current Stats 23-5-1)

Come on! A -1.5 line? Really?

Sparta was close to take 3 points against Stavanger in the top meeting, they opened strong as usual taking a 1-0 lead within the first minutes, 2-0 after the first period. They even had a early 3-0 lead in the second period, but Stavanger managed to catch up after a late goal in the 3rd. Sparta won later on after penalties. But the fact is that Sparta was the winners in the game, they still have a 6 points lead in the league, and did a great job against Stavanger.

Rosenborg had a crazy game against Manglerud away, Manglerud managed to score 3(!) early goals, and make it 3-1 after the first period. But Rosenborg somehow managed to come up and win 7-4. It is impressive indeed, but allowing 4 goals against Manglerud, a team that has least amount of goals scored in the league (together with Stjernen), not gonna work against Sparta.

Yes, Cause Sparta is in a completly different league at the moment, after 16 games they have 74:27 in goal difference. Now, if Rosenborg lets in 2-3 goals in the first period. The game is over, they cant turn it around against teams like Sparta. Sparta's weakness is their away play, but at the same time, its really not much of a weakness. They've won 6 out of 8 away games, loosing the two against Valerenga (2-1) and Lorenskog (2-2), and in those games, Sparta has been the best team, and it also shows their defense against good teams.

Rosenborgs home games then? They've won 4 out of 8 games, Wins against Frisk, Manglerud, Storhamar and Lillehammer. Now lets see, Frisk and Manglerud are not much of a challenge at home. The Lillehammer game was a lack of motivation game for LIK, and the Storhamar game was over a month ago. This is what has happened when top teams have come to visit Rosenborg.

Rosenborg - Valerenga (1-5)

Rosenborg - Lorenskog (2-6)

Rosenborg - Stavanger (2-6)

And these are against the top teams this season,

Valerenga - Rosenborg (3-0)

Lorenskog - Rosenborg (5-1)

Stavanger - Rosenborg (3-0)

Sparta - Rosenborg (6-0)

So they have 6-34 in Goal difference against the top teams this season. Sparta has won 4 straight away games, Rosenborg have won 1 of the last 5 home games. If this was at Sparta's homeice, we would get a -2.5 line, and it would probably be suitable with a -2 in this game. And thats why this pick is worth 5u.
