ELIMINATORIES:
The number of starting horses will determited the formula of eliminatories of each racetrack, under
the following conditions : 12 runners One eliminatory 13 to 24 runners Two eliminatories 37 to 48 runners Four eliminatories 25 to 36 runners Three eliminatories 49 to 60 runners Five eliminatories, etc. The number of places in the Final shall be distributed in proportion to the number of horses started
in the eliminatory races on both Racetracks. Should the number of horses to be qualified for the Final in the different eliminatory races not be
the same in each race, both Racecourses shall first qualify the same number of horses per
eliminatory race. The remaining post positions in the Final are assigned on each Racetrack to the
horse coming next in the classification, having the best time. If there is a dead heat among two or
more horses, the decision is taken by drawing lots. If a horse qualified to the Finale is not declared starter, it can, before the drawings of post positions
in that finale, be replaced by the next competitor in the ranking of the relevant eliminatory. The distribution of the horses in the different eliminatory races containing the same number of
horses at one unit, is done according to the rules can be consulted at the U.E.T. office. Should a horse be disqualified in an eliminatory race as a result of a positive doping test, it will be
automatically disqualified in the Final.
