Tak! The Ottawa Senators attended the funeral of their assistant coach's daughter yesterday (in Ottawa), the 14-year old girl committed suicide on Saturday. It must have been an emotional day for them, and right after the funeral they flew to Raleigh for the game vs. a Hurricanes team that had been beaten soundly by both Montreal (7-2 after the Hurricanes scored 2 goals in the 2nd to tie 2-2) and 8-1 vs. Philadelphia the game right before that. Between Ottawa's being in an emotional state, tired and flying in that day, and Carolina's hunger for a bounceback win it seemed like a good bet. And it was already 4-0 after the 1st period.

The Blues are in big trouble, despite having Halak in nets they have lost their top players like TJ Oshie and David Perron to injury..... and are no longer winning games. Also, Detroit is playing very well and their record at home is very good.
