Charleroi is a very poor side, they are without quality for the first league in almost all players and it is a miracle they didn't relegate last season. This season is beyond saving and with 8 consecutive loosing games they dont know feeling of success anymore. I have personally backed teams against Charleroi for a record of 6-1 @ 1.86 average odds (handicaps and straight bets). One of the winners for instance was against a team from lower division in the cup! I managed to miss one of their rare draws in the beginning of the season where they still stood up from time to time. This has off course litte or nothing to do with tonights game, but the fact that any team gets priced over EVS in Charleroi is a bit strange in my world. Mechelen is certainly not one of the teams that should be priced like this. Yes I tried to fade them last game and they beat Eupen away 1-0. They are mostly a home team, but 4-1-4 away is more than ok when their successors was named Anderlecht, Gent, Kortrijk and Lokeren. I think I have jinxed this game enough by this writeup so I will leave it at that. |

The form is also in favour of Almere I think, yes they are both 1-1-4 last six, but remember that Almere had the lead at home to Den Bosch, they had the lead with 2 men down against RBC, they tied the game at home to Waalwijk and turned arround 2-0 and won 4-2 at Dordrecht. Whilst Sittard had the lead against AGOVV and Telstar and still lost, both of them weaker teams. Yes they had an upset winning away to Waalwijk but came back down with two straight defeats after and the last clear 3-0 away from home to Dordrecht. I feel these teams are equally bad, and there are little or no home pitch advantage. These odds are to short for the home team and I will give them a try. |
