Its time for the 3rd meeting between these two Norwegian giants. Valerenga has won both of the meetings this season, 2-1 at home, and 3-2 away last time. Both of these games has had the same gamestructure, Sparta has controlled the game, but has been unable to score for various reasons, mainly because of Derochers, Valerenga's goaltender, who seem to be enjoying these meetings. Anyway, the fact is though that 2 times with the same outcome proves that Valerenga's tactic works, and they are indeed more effective when it comes to scoring opportunities. Take last game for a example, Sparta missed several scoring opportunities, dissalowed goal, several crucial saves by Derochers, but still Valerenga did indeed win...

Sparta have been playing alot better against other teams though as they are 3 points ahead of Valerenga, despite the two losses this season. Their way of controlling games has been effective against the mediocre teams this season, but against Valerenga it hasnt worked well. Although Sparta is not known to be that strong in big games, I believe that Valerenga enjoys letting Sparta controll the game. Mainly because of...

One game has gone over. I have a hard time seeing this going over, this is an important game for both teams. Valerenga will have to play the same kind of hockey they've played the last meetings, while Sparta has to be better in defense, as their offense has been abit unlucky.

As long as no team takes a big lead in the first period, this total should go under.
